Privacy and Cookie Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and store personal data when you visit or shop in the Les Artistes Paris HR online store, open a customer account, request an R1 invoice, sign up for marketing communications, or contact us.

What data we process

Depending on how you use the store, we may process:

  • identification and contact data, such as first name, last name, email and phone number;
  • delivery address and billing address;
  • data about your order, products, returns, complaints and communication with customer support;
  • data for R1 invoices, including the business entity's name and address, OIB, and other data required for the invoice;
  • payment and transaction status data; full card details are processed by Shopify Payments or the relevant payment service provider, and we generally do not store them in readable form;
  • customer account data and settings;
  • data about consents, newsletter sign-up and marketing preferences;
  • technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, cookie identifiers, website usage data, and security and fraud-prevention records;
  • content you send us yourself, such as inquiries, reviews, photos, or files for personalization.

We obtain data directly from you, through the Shopify store and checkout, from cookies and similar technologies, and from service providers involved in payment processing, delivery, fraud prevention, analytics, or customer support.

Purposes and legal bases for processing

We process personal data:

  • to conclude and perform the contract: processing orders and payments, delivery, communication, product personalization, returns and complaints;
  • to fulfill legal obligations: issuing and keeping invoices, tax, accounting, fiscalization and other legally required records, and responding to requests from competent authorities;
  • on the basis of legitimate interest: protecting the store and customers, preventing fraud and abuse, information security, responding to inquiries, defending legal claims, and developing and improving the service, following an assessment of users' interests and rights;
  • on the basis of your consent: sending marketing messages when consent is required, and using optional analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

If you do not provide the data necessary to process your order, payment, invoice or delivery, we may not be able to complete the purchase or the requested service.

R1 invoices and accounting processing

If you request an R1 invoice, we use the business entity data you enter to issue the invoice and for accounting, tax and fiscalization purposes. This data may be shared with our accounting service, the eRačuni provider or another accounting/fiscalization system, and with competent public authorities where required by law.

Please enter the correct full name, address and OIB of the business entity before completing your order. To make a correction, contact us without delay, preferably before the invoice is issued and the order is shipped.

Shopify and service providers

Our store is hosted on the Shopify platform. Shopify processes the data necessary to display the store, checkout, order management, payment, security, fraud detection, and other platform functions. Depending on the Shopify settings and services enabled, Shopify may act as a data processor or as an independent data controller for certain purposes.

If Shopify Network Intelligence and related enhanced services are enabled, data about activity in the store may be shared with Shopify to personalize the experience, deliver more relevant advertising, and understand interactions with the store and ads. Such processing and sharing depend on applicable law and your consent settings.

Who we may disclose data to

We share data only to the extent necessary with:

  • Shopify and online store infrastructure providers;
  • Shopify Payments, card networks, banks and other payment service providers;
  • shipping and logistics partners;
  • our accounting service, the eRačuni/fiscalization system provider, and auditors;
  • IT maintenance, hosting, email, customer support, analytics and marketing providers, where optional marketing technologies are used in accordance with your consent;
  • professional advisors, insurers and competent authorities where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our rights.

We require our data processors to provide adequate data protection and to process data in accordance with our instructions and agreement, except where they independently determine the purposes of processing in accordance with their own legal obligations.

International transfers

Some providers, including Shopify and its sub-processors, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, safeguards permitted by law apply, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, along with additional measures where necessary.

How long we keep data

We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and to fulfill accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations. We keep order and invoice data for the periods prescribed by applicable law. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until the consent is withdrawn, unless another legal basis exists for further retention. We may keep data longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies necessary for the store, cart, checkout, security and remembering your selected settings to function. We use analytics, functional and marketing cookies only when permitted by applicable rules and, where required, after obtaining your consent.

You can change your choice via the privacy or cookie settings link available in the store. Blocking essential cookies in your browser may disable part of the store's functionality.

Marketing messages

If you have signed up for our newsletter or other marketing, we may send you information about products, offers and news. You can unsubscribe from any email via the unsubscribe link or by sending a request to info@hydralife.hr. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect service messages related to your order, invoice, delivery or security.

Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to request:

  • access to your personal data and a copy of it;
  • correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erasure of your data;
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and in particular to direct marketing;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact info@hydralife.hr. For data protection purposes, we may request reasonable proof of identity. We respond to requests within the timeframes prescribed by the GDPR.

Security and minors

We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures. No system is completely secure, so please let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or data.

The store is not intended for independent purchases by persons who lack the required legal capacity. If you believe a child has provided us with data without appropriate authorization, please contact us.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time due to changes in our business, technology or regulations. We will publish the new version with the date of the last update.
